The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, will on Saturday, May 20, officially welcome his sixth wife, Opeoluwa Akinmuda into his royal palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Akinmuda tied the knot with the monarch last year but has been out of the country. Hence, the upcoming traditional rites to make her part of the royal family.
Channels Television quoted a source, Moses Olafare as saying, “What is happening this weekend is a thanksgiving ceremony in line with the cultural tradition of the palace so that she can formally get a seat at the palace.”
It was gathered that invitations for the reception of the queen have been sent out and major dignitaries in the country are expected to grace the grand event.
