Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, the music promoter popularly known as Sam Larry, says he knows nothing about the death of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.
Sam Larry made the claim in his statement to the police after he was arrested and taken into custody.
The music promoter was reportedly arrested on Thursday, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos State police public relations officer.
Hundeyin said Sam Larry was “assisting” with the ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to Mohbad’s death.

Reports later emerged that Sam Larry, who alongside Naira Marley has been the subject of discussions since Mohbad died, was picked up by the police upon his return to Nigeria from Kenya.
Sam Larry, via a police statement that made its way to social media on Friday, told the police that he has been out of the country since August 20. Hence, does not know anything about Mohbad’s demise besides “what is written in the blogs and press.”
