HealthNewsNigeriaGovt approves additional fund for modern laboratory at Yola Specialist Hospita

The Adamawa State Government has reviewed the cost of construction of a modern laboratory at Specialist Hospital, Yola.

Dr. Umar Garba Pella, State Commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development disclosed this Wednesday while briefing newsmen shortly after the council meeting held in the Government House, Yola, presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The Commissioner stated that the council has approved over N117m variation for the project which was initially awarded at N578m, and explained that the variation is to cover the cost of increased prices of building materials.

The commissioner added that the council had approved the construction of 42 klm Damare-Borong Road, stretching from National Youth Service Corps NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at the cost of over N836m.

He said the contract of the feeder road project which covers Girei and Demsa local government areas was awarded to Hydro Source and Resource Nigeria Limited with a completion period of 12 Months.
