President Bola Ahmed Tinubu departed Abuja for the United Kingdom on Wednesday, where he will spend two weeks on his annual leave.

The President’s trip, which also doubles as a working vacation, will allow him to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms to steer the country toward recovery.

According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu “will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.”

Tinubu, who has introduced several key reforms since assuming office, is expected to use the time to assess the impact of his policies, particularly those geared toward economic stability.

The President will return to the country after the leave expires.
