A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Yekini Adeojo has died.
Adeojo, a prominent politician from Oyo State and respected traditional leader reportedly died on Friday morning in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Chief Adeojo was the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and held the prestigious title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. He was also a notable chieftain of the party in Ibadan.
He was one of the founding members of the PDP in Oyo State and the father of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government.
Adeojo was a businessman of note, the founder of Yahanaty Flour Mills located in Ibadan.\
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of his death has not been made public.
