The Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has given Ogige Market traders whose shops were pulled down during the construction of the modern transport terminal at Nsukka a right of first refusal, ROFR.
Governor Mbah made this proposal on Saturday during the laying of the foundation of the Nsukka International Market.
Mbah assures the people that in 4 months, the 5000 shops at the Nsukka International Market will be ready for business.
“We know that development always takes into account the stakeholders that are affected. So, in four months, we will be ready with these shops. But we will make sure that those people who were affected as a result of the development we carried out will be given the right of first refusal. Those of you who were affected by the new bus terminals at Ogige will be given priority here,” Governor Mbah assures.
