A randy Yola-based Businessman, the Adamawa State capital, Mamuda Duma, who was allegedly impregnated a married woman, has been dragged to court by the husband of the woman.
The defendant resides at Wuro-Jabbe, Yola South LGA, was accused of having an extramarital affair with a married woman who lives in Yola town of Yola South LGA.
The complainant, Ahmadu Lawal of Yola town in Yola South LGA, who dragged the defendant to court, alleged that the defendant had asked his wife to abort her 3-month pregnancy, which she did.
Counsel to the Complainant, Ibrahim Hamman Gurin, said the offence committed by the defendant amounted to “enticing and abortion” contrary to sections 315 and 203 of the penal code law, Adamawa state, 2018.
When the allegations were read to the defendant, he denied all the allegations.

Thereafter, the court presided by Chief Magistrate Muhammed Njidda of the Chief Magistrate Court one, while adjourning the case to 1st September 2025 for commencement of trial, ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison custody.
