…Calls For Patience, Love, Compassion
The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has heartily congratulated the Muslim faithful across the state and Nigeria at large on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitri.
The party in a message on Friday signed by the state Publicity Secretary, Mogaji (Hon) Seye Oladejo, urged Muslim faithful to uphold the virtues of patience, generosity and love beyond the holy month.
He stated that Eid-el-Fitri is a significant occasion that symbolises sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah.
The message reads, “It is a time that calls for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the values of peace, unity, and mutual coexistence.
“As a party deeply rooted in the progress and prosperity of Lagos State, we commend the Muslim community for their prayers, devotion, and continued contributions to the growth and stability of our society. We recognise the spiritual sacrifices made during Ramadan and encourage all faithful to uphold the virtues of patience, generosity, and love beyond the holy month.
“The Lagos APC also urges residents to use this festive period as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and extend acts of kindness to the less privileged in our communities.
“We reaffirm our commitment to inclusive governance, religious harmony, and policies that foster sustainable development for all residents of Lagos State.
“As families and friends gather to celebrate, we wish everyone a peaceful, joyful, and safe Eid-el-Fitri celebration.”
