The paramount ruler of Hoba Chiefdom in Hong local government area of Adamawa State, His Royal Majesty, Tol Alheri Bulus Nyako has fulfilled his pledge and made a personal donation of assorted drugs worth N500,000 to Shashau Humanitarian Health Centre in Hong district.
The paramount ruler had, on 12th April, 2026, during the commissioning of the health facility, pledged to supply drugs worth N500,000 to be administered free of charge to patients who access services at the facility.
Presenting the drugs on Friday, Tol Huba who was represented by the Secretary Huba Chiefdom, Alh. Saleh A. Abba said the presentation followed submission of the assessment report by the committee constituted to identify priority needs of the health facility.
Other members of the delegation sent by His Royal Majesty are Engr. Linus Wageti, Personal Assistant to His Majesty, and Engr. Philemon Dalatu Stanley.
In their separate remarks, the Village Head of Shashau, Abubakar Musa Tsumunda, and the Officer-in-Charge of the Health Center, Mr. Gachanunaya Manasseh, thanked Tol Huba for the gesture and pledged to adhere to his instructions of administering the drugs free of charge to patients.
Other spoke during the presentation include Youth Leader, Mr. James Jonah; the Women Leader, Hajara Dahiru; and religious leaders, Rev. Mavahyel Naati Rufus and Imam Buba Umar.
They expressed gratitude to His Majesty for His benevolence and unwavering commitment to the community’s welfare.
