You may call him a Prophet of doom, but this pastor, Prophet Paul Abam of Itigidi, Abi LGA in Cross River may have been duping his people with fraudulent revelations until his antics were miraculously exposed.
WAP’s I-Witness-Reporter had initially informed our newsroom that Prophet Abam had been setting his victims up by burying charms or other scary collage of figurines in their premises, then turn around and uproot them as prophetic-powered miracles for money.
Equally, Prophet Abam had been spewing lies as prophetic messages to vulnerable members of the community, and often, would perform some weird incantations with fictitious messages to calculatedly defraud them. But this very day, he was caught red-handed burying charms in a facility allegedly owned by his cousin.
Prophet Abam had already told his cousin about a deadly charm in his premises and had offered to clean it up with a large amount of money, a family source revealed. Before the miracle day when this charmed would be uprooted, Prophet Abam had set out to plant some charms on the premises it was gathered. Unfortunately for him, a bystander who became suspicious trailed and monitored him as he meticulously buried his pieces of charms in the ground.
The bystander quietly ran out and alerted other members of the community who swooped and apprehended the fake Prophet red-handed with his charms. The prophet popularly called Miracle Pastor by his church members was consequently paraded in public. “It’s our traditional way of humiliating and disgracing thieves here in Itigidi,” an eyewitness said. “It is traditional and I don’t know what happens next. All I know is that the crowd follows his around and also they will take him to the chief too”, she said.
Rev Abam, it was gathered, is the head Pastor of Word Based Prophetic and Deliverance Ministry in Cross River State.
