Lamido Adamawa Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha has charged the new District Heads in the Emirate to work for the progress and development of the Emirate and carry everyone along in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Lamido Adamawa handed over the charge at his palace Saturday while turbanning six new district heads in the emirate.
 Those turbaned are Alhaji Hassan Jaafaru, Ardo Daware, Alhaji Abubakar Jika, Nyibango, Alhaji Umar Yahya Njidda, Uba, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Fada, Guyaku, Alhaji Yunusa Danjuma Ardumi, Binyeri, and Alhaji Jamilu Musa for Lala District.
The Royal Father who traced the processes of their emergence as District Heads, said “the appointees received the blessings of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri”.
Barkindo urged them to sustain the confidence reposed on them by being loyal to the Emirate, government and constituted authorities at all times.
 “Work in synergy with other district heads in the Emirate in order to achieve sustainable peace and development of Adamawa”. He added.
Lamido Adamawa thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who was represented by the Deputy Governor Crowther Seth during the exercise.
Speaking on behalf of the other newly turbaned District heads, the new District head of Nyibango, Alhaji Abubakar Jika expressed gratitude to Lamido Adamawa for finding them worthy of the honor. He pledged their loyalty and will work in concert with their colleagues for the progress and development of Adamawa Emirate.
