In in order to impact tailoring skills on youths for them to be self-reliance and contribute to the economy, the Tailoring Association of Nigeria (TAN) Yola South local government branch, Adamawa State has flagged-off training of fifty (50) youths in tailoring.
The training which is holding at Hammawa Primary School Yola town have participants to include school leavers, and house wives.
Zakariya`u Idris, branch Secretary of the Association Yola South Local Government, said the training will last three months.
“Government and non-governmental organizations should assist the participants with starter packs at the end of the training to enable them establish their businesses and become self-reliant”. Idris said.
According to him, the association will issue certificates to the trainees at the end of the training exercise.
