In its effort to expand the loading terminals, the Adamawa State Transport Board operators of “Sunshine Express” has open a new terminal in Yola town loading passengers from Yola to Jalingo, Abuja, Kano, Bauchi, Jos among others.
Commissioning the terminal, Adamawa State Commissioner for Transport Adamawa State Alhaji Mustapha Jika said the terminal is aim at boosting the transportation activities in the state
He called on residents of Yola South Local government and environs to patronize the new Sunshine Station Motor Park while traveling to other parts of the country.
Earlier, the General Manager, Adamawa State Transport Board Comrade Mohammed Tukur Abbo said the company is among transport companies that offers insurance for passengers and pledge to maintain the tempo.
Tukur charge the drivers against taking hard drugs and recklessness driving, maintained that the company will punish any erring driver.
In their separate Goodwill messages Chairman Yola South Local government Alhaji Sahilu Malkohi, District of Yola Alhaji Muhammed Ahmad Mustapha and State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers described the flagging off as timely and pledged their support at all times.
