The Member representing Hong constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly Mr. Bathiya Wesley has distributed empowerment items to electorates aimed at improving their living standard.

Items distributed include; 8 brand new cars, 50 sewing machines, 10 motorcycles, 8 wheelchairs, solar panels, and cash to 213  women across Hong Local Government.
 The lawmaker while making the presentation of the items to beneficiaries in Hong said: “the items are procured with a view to improving the living standard of people”.
 Wesley, pleaded with those who have benefitted from the items to exercise patience as the next phase of the empowerment programme is underway.
He pledged to continue with good representation in the state Assembly for the benefit of citizens in the state.
In their separate remarks, Council Chairman Hong Local Government Mr James Pukuma and the Chairman Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Hong Local Government chapter, Alh Inuwa Usman Waganda, said that the empowerment will go along way in uplifting the status of the beneficiaries.
Also speaking, the District Head of Hong and Dan Maliki Adamawa Alh Umar B. Mahmud, commended the legislator for the remarkable achievements so far recorded.
“We are hundred percent behind you, what you have done is a clear demonstration that you are a good leader”. He said.
