KADUNA — Hours after been declared wanted, President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba dared Kaduna’s Nasir El-Rufai to arrest him.

On Tuesday, the governor in a tweet had placed a bounty on the NLC leader, declaring him wanted for alleged economic sabotage.

“KADUNA UPDATE: Ayuba Wabba & others of @NLCHeadquarters declared wanted for economic sabotage & attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act. Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to @MOJKaduna. KDSG. There will be a handsome reward!, ” El-Rufai tweet.

Wabba, while leading a protest, hours after the tweet responded saying “Let him come and arrest me. We are here and waiting for them.”

The NLC leader has been leading the protest in Kaduna against the Kaduna State Government’s plan to sack local government workers.

Wabba alongside members of the congress placed all activities on hold, heralding the five-day warning strike to protest.

Wabba, who addressed the civil Servants in the state vowed to ensure that the El-Rufai’s Government is brought to its knees until the government recall the sacked workers to their duty posts
