ENUGU — In commemoration of the day security agents invaded the home of Nnamdi Kanu at Afara, Umuahia in Abia state, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, declared Tuesday, September 14, 2021 a sit-at-home day.

In Emene, Enugu East Local Government in Enugu state, hoodlums looted a bread delivery van and attacked the driver distributing Chimex bread around the old Orie Emene market.

Eye witness account states, “They dragged the driver out, looted all the bread and then set the bus ablaze.”

“The intervention of the Army who shot into the air dispersed the hoodlums; there was no casualty of lives.”

Burning of properties has become a trend for these miscreants who hide under the auspices of IPOB to stir up mayhem in the community causing more economic harm to citizens.

While one tricycle, popularly called Keke was vandalized just before Coal City University in Enugu East LGA, another was set ablaze at Proda junction; these are means of livelihood of people that were destroyed.
