The UN Envoy had told the Minister that he had visited Borno to assess the Humanitarian situation, reiterating United Nations commitment towards helping the Nigerian Government return persons of concern to their homes in dignity and respect.

The Minister added that the government is supporting them with skills and durable solutions even in camps to be self-reliant.

“The problem is very enormous. Every year I see this as I go to the field it’s disheartening. We hope this insecurity ends so that everyone can be returned to their homes and normal lives in safety and dignity,” she said.
