Afro-pop star, Adekunle Kosoko who goes by the stage name Adekunle Gold has revealed that his album, Catch Me If You Can is the best project he has embarked on so far.

After dropping the album in the early hours of Friday, the artist tweeted, “Never seen a greater miracle than myself. My 4th album Catch Me If You Can is out nationwide and it’s the best project I have ever made. Now I don taste freedom, no stopping me! I hope you take your time to listen with ease.”

The album, CMIYC contains 13 tracks including previously released singles: ‘Sinner,’ ‘Mercy’, ‘It Is What It Is’ and ‘High’ which features Davido.

The singer enlisted American singers Ty Dolla Sign, Lucky Daye, Fousheé, British-Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don, Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara, and Nigerian superstar, Davido in the new album. Producers that worked on the album include Blaise Beatz, Tay Iwar, Spax, Davayo, Pheelz, Seyifunmi, BigFish, and Quebeat.

Speaking about the project, Gold wrote: “How long it took to finalize the tracklist is unforgivable (sorry to my team). But all passengers are boarded and we are ready to take flight. Buckle up, It’s about to be a movie.”

The Nigerian highlife singer gained widespread popularity after releasing the 2015 hit single ‘Sade’, a highlife cover of One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life’.

Catch Me If You Can is Adekunle Gold’s fourth album. His other albums are: ‘Gold’ (2016), ‘About 30’ (2018), and ‘Afropop’ (2020).
