Valentine’s Day, February 14 has come to be regarded as a day of romance and love, when lovers express their affection with gifts. It is a special day in which we remind that special person how much he/she means to us.
Ahead of 2022 Valentine’s Day, popular Nigerian rapper, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley in a post shared via his verified Twitter handle, humorously inquired the reason his fans, known as marlians won’t celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day, coming up in two weeks.
He tweeted: “Marlian no dey do valentine or your single? Be clear.”
According to Naira Marley, it is either marlians do not celebrate ‘lovers day’ or one is unable to celebrate because one is single.
His tweet generated a lot of reactions from his fans. A lot of Twitter users responded with laughing emojis, but most are of the opinion that Valentine’s Day isn’t for marlians.
