Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of Super TV Chief Executive Officer, Usifo Ataga, has been crowned as “Miss Cell, 2022” in Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
Recall that Usifo, 50, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in a short-let apartment in Lagos on June 16, 2021.
He was said to have lodged there with the lead suspect, Chidinma.
Chidinma was consequently arrested on June 23. Since her arrest, she had however, given conflicting information about Ataga’s death to the media.
She initially told the press that she killed Ataga; but later distanced herself from the murder.
The suspect whose trial is still ongoing participated in a beauty pageant held in commemoration of the 2022 International Women’s Day alongside other ladies at the Kirikiri Correctional Center and emerged the winner of the competition.
