AWKA — Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano today held his last Executive Council meeting for his administration. The meeting which was held at the newly commissioned International Convention Centre was an expanded executive attended by members of Anambra State Executive Council and Permanent Secretaries of government ministries.

During the meeting, the Governor-Elect, Prof. Soludo was there to present the report of Anambra Vision 2070 which he chaired since 2020. It would be recalled that in 2020, Governor Obiano had commissioned the Anambra Vision 2070 to draw a fifty years road map of development for the State and the committee was headed by Prof. Charles Soludo.

The 200-page document on Anambra’s fifty years development plan was presented to Governor Obiano and the Executive Council members, by Governor-Elect Prof. Soludo.

The final Anambra State Executive Council meeting under Governor Obiano commenced around 1pm and ended before 3pm, drawing the curtains on the Council members’ participation in running the affairs of the state except, they are reappointed by the incoming governor.
