LAGOS — Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, also known as Falz has premiered his very first musical project for the year 2022, titled ‘Ice Cream’.
Sharing a sensual video of the soon-to-go-viral new song on his Instagram page on Wednesday, March 16, the rapper announced that the official video of the song, featuring Nigerian sensation, BNXN (formerly known as Buju) will be out on Friday, March 18.
In the video, Falz came through with his trademark silky smooth delivery, while pleasantly pulling out some slightly uncharacteristic risque lyrics.
Beyond the controversial lyrics which basically depict sexual contents, the 31-year-old rapper provided an interesting choreography to deliver a befitting masterpiece.
Likewise, BNXN played his role smoothly, as he fulfills that ‘singer with the sauce’ charisma in the video.
Sharing the video with his fans, Falz, who is best known for writing songs about activism and empowerment, noted that he would do things a little differently this year.
“Doing things a little differently this year Man like BNXN snapped on this hook shaa,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, shocked by Falz’s newfound style, Nigerian celebrities like Funke Akindele, Mr. Macaroni, Alex Ekubo, among others stormed Instagram to drop comments on the video.
