NewsPeopleFriends Reveal The True Cause Of Osinachi Nwachukwu’s Death

Friends and acquaintances of late Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu have spoken up about the cause of her death.
It had earlier been reported that the gospel singer died at the late hours of Friday, April 8, 2022.
Following her death, her friends and colleagues are alleging on various social media platforms that she died as a result of the incessant domestic violence she suffered from her husband.
In a series of Facebook and Instagram posts, Twitter tweets and WhatsApp statuses, it was revealed that the singer had been a victim of domestic violence for a long time.
Gospel artiste, Frank Edward shared the late singer’s photo on Twitter with the caption: “So that unreasonable human being finally put off a shining light. I won’t say much now, I will let the former NDDC director (aunty Joy) who did everything possible to stop this from happening talk first, but it still happened. We tried to stop this.”
One of her friends, lifestyle blogger Amanda Chisom, accused her husband, Peter of being “a control freak whose only interest is to maximise profit from her voice.”
Another close friend said the victim’s husband cum manager, managed her phones, social media accounts, bank accounts, and received payments for the singer’s ministrations.
Another friend said the singer told her of how the husband would “tie her up and ask the children to beat her up with a cane.”
According to yet another friend, her husband “would lock her up in the house even on days when she has important concerts and programmes that she had already been paid for.”
A Facebook user, Gloria Solomon said, “I hosted her in one of my programmes, The INVASION in 2019. It was a terrible experience with the husband on the phone and then when she arrived, she shared scary marital issues.
“She had to sneak out of the house to honour the invitation. The husband threatened me on the phone and assured me that the wife will not return to his house if she attends the event after we have booked her flight to and fro.”
A colleague, Gold Martins in a Facebook post stated that being a gospel minister, the late Osinachi was afraid of what the world would say if she ended her marriage after four children.
Gold quoted the singer as saying, “If not for the church and what people will say, I would have left this marriage.”
As fans, friends and acquaintances continue to express shock over the death of gospel singer, Actress Mary Remmy Njoku has reacted to the sad news.
Giving advice to women who find themselves in an abusive relationship, the actress said the only solution is for the victim walk away.
She added that the news of Osinachi’s death is a bitter pill to swallow.
She wrote, “Prayer doesn’t change violent people! Your pastor will not die with you when he kills you! Your family and friends will blame you for leaving, and when you are dead, blame you for staying.
“Leave! Leave! Get out! Run for your life. You deserve to be happy!! You deserve to be alive! Men no dey finish!!
“Not all marriages are ordained by God! The God you serve cannot ordain your perpetual torture!! Some spouses are demons in human form. Don’t let anyone confuse you with bible quotes till he kills you!! Run!! I am still shaken by the news of her death. I am angry!”
Her husband, Peter Nwachukwu has been reportedly arrested for her death.
