The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has fired back at those who accused President Muhammadu Buhari of dividing Nigeria with his style of leadership.
Recently, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Matthew Kukah and the Northern Elders’ Forum (NEF) heavily criticised Buhari over insecurity, corruption, and division in Nigeria.
NEF called on Buhari to resign, citing alleged mismanagement of the economic and security sectors.
Kukah, on his part, lambasted Buhari in his Easter message, saying that every sector in Nigeria is broken.
Adesina, reacting to the recent heat on his principal for allegedly mismanaging the nation, said it was surprising that those accusing Buhari of dividing the country are the ones that used their mouths and unguarded speeches to divide Nigeria.
In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, Adesina wrote, “Those who divided Nigeria with their mouths, with evil, unguarded speaking, are the ones now accusing President Buhari. How sad! Their wicked intentions shall not come to pass.”
