The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has confirmed that the union has extended its strike by another three months.
ASUU President, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke who confirmed the extension on Monday in Abuja attributed the government’s failure to keep to agreements reached.
He said ASUU was extending its action because the government had refused to address its issues, and accused the minister of labour and employment of stopping the salaries of ASUU members, but approved payment for other unions in the universities, which are also on strike.
