Ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election, Prophet Godfrey Gbujie has predicted that former Anambra governor, Mr. Peter Obi, will emerge as the party’s flagbearer.
Gbujie, the ministerial leader of the World Zionist Union in the South-East, made the revelation at a media conference in Awka, the Anambra State capital on Wednesday.
According to him, he got the divine revelation during an intercessory prayer session for the party primaries.
“I started praying for divine intervention due to concerns being felt about the primaries,” he said.
“I was even interceding for Governor Wike until about 1:40 a.m. this morning when I got a revelation that there has been a plan to use money to change the delegates list in favour of someone else.
“It was then that God revealed to me that Obi is the person for the PDP ticket.”
The cleric, 65, disclosed that he had communicated the revelation to the main opposition party, PDP, via the party’s national secretary, Sam Anyanwu.
He also warned that any attempt to manipulate the electoral process, especially the primaries, by political money bags in the party, thereby subverting the will of God, would spell doom for the party and the entire nation.
“I have communicated this to the National Secretary of the PDP, Sen. Sam Anyanwu, and warned him not to be part of any move to subvert God’s agenda because it will not end up well for the party and the nation,” he said.
Gbujie, however, did not say who would emerge as the winner of the presidential election or predict if Obi would emerge as the next president in 2023.
The PDP’s presidential primary is scheduled for May 28, 2022.
