NewsSocial MediaSen. Binani Fake Facebook Accounts Uncovered

Following her emergence as the APC governorship flagbearer in Adamawa State some unscrupulous persons have opened fake Facebook accounts bearing Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani’s names.

In a verified Facebook account of a legislative aide to the Senator, Adamu Ibraheem Jimeta noted that the number of fake accounts is on the increase.

 Jimeta wrote: “While we are making efforts to get to the people behind this impersonation, we call on the general public to kindly desist from having anything to do with those Facebook accounts.

“Till date Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed is Her Excellency’s only personal Facebook account”.

The aide also said “the 7 points agenda in circulation is not from us. I also came across it on social media the same way those of you who contacted me on it did”.
