Nigerians in the United States, under the aegis of Rescue Nigeria Movement North American, will be holding a democracy rally for Nigeria in preparation for the 2023 general elections.
The group, a sensitization and mobilization movement for meaningful social and progressive change in Nigeria with participants from across the Nigeria Diaspora, announced this in a press release dated July 21, 2022.
The rally, tagged Rescue Nigeria Mega Rally, is a one-of-a-kind citizens’ sensitization and political mobilization rally aimed at encouraging support for good governance and democracy in Nigeria.
According to the press release made available to The West African Pilot, the rally is slated for Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 9801 Bissonnet Street, Houston, Texas at 8:00am.
“Nigerians in the United States will be holding a Get-Out-The-Vote sensitization mega rally on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 9801 Bissonnet Street, Houston, Texas 77036 (by Southwest Farmer’s Market Parking lot), in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Nigeria general elections,” the statement reads.
