ABUJA — Labor Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Friday night, joined the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche in intercessory prayer for Nigeria.

Pastor Enenche led a special prayer session for Nigeria during the 2022 mid-year praise and worship tagged Judgemental Praise at the 100,000-capacity Glory Dome in Abuja on Friday.

The event had in attendance top gospel music ministers such as Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwards, Buchi, Mercy Chinwo, Chioma Jesus, Dunsin Oyekan, Abraham Akatu, and a host of others.

Notable among the political leaders in attendance to seek the face of God over the state of security and other challenges facing the country are Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom, the first lady of Delta State, Mrs. Edith Okowa, and the 14th Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara.

Holding a Nigerian flag while on his knees, Obi who received rapturous applause and a rousing welcome by the congregation when Becky Enenche, the wife of Paul Enenche, announced his presence, prayed for Nigeria saying, “God we have no other nation but Nigeria. Please deliver us. Please save us. Nigeria must not go down. Let your light shine upon this nation.”
