SportUzuegbuna Okagbue Receives in Visit Stephanie Onusiriuka, Eleven Years Old Anambra Sports Champion

Uzuegbuna Okagbue has received in visit, Stephanie Onusiriuka, Anambra born eleven years old multiple gold medalist. This visit was upon her return from South Africa, following her successful outing at the Africa Gymnastics Clubs Championship, last weekend.

Stephanie, who paid a courtesy call to Uzuegbuna Okagbue in Abuja, the nation’s capital in the company of her mother, Mrs. Amaka Onusiriuka, first met Uzuegbuna Okagbue during her outing in the 2021 national gymnastics which was held in Edo state where she won five medals.

Since then, Okagbue who took a special interest in her excellent sporting potential has maintained a cordial and supportive role to Stephanie’s exciting career in sports, at such a young age. Owing to her successful outing in Pretoria South Africa over the last weekend, Stephanie would have proceeded to Tokyo for the Tokyo Olympics, however, her age was a factor, as athletes must not be less than fifteen years to participate in the Tokyo Olympics.

During the visit to Uzuegbuna Okagbue who assured them of his continued support for her career, while also giving a gift for her latest successful outing; Stephanie and her mother Amaka, expressed their utmost gratitude to Okagbue for his assistance and encouragement. Also, both Stephanie and her mother spoke confidently about what the future holds for the eleven years old Anambra gymnastics champion, who has followed the path of excellence in all her outings since last year.
