Festus Keyamo, spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, has taunted the critics of Bola Tinubu.
In a tweet after Tinubu returned to the country on Thursday, Keyamo described the APC candidate as “the master of the game”.
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One,” he had tweeted.
Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, returned to Nigeria on Thursday after 12 days in the United Kingdom (UK).
During his time away from the country, there had been criticism targeted at the APC over Tinubu’s absence from public events, including the signing of the peace accord on the 2023 elections.
There had also been allegations that his absence caused the party to postpone the inauguration of its presidential campaign council, which was earlier scheduled for September.
