President Muhammadu Buhari has expanded his ongoing fight against corruption in Nigeria’s educational sector.
This, according to him, is in an effort to demand accountability from the administration of academic institutions across the country.
He said this on Tuesday this while declaring open the Fourth National Summit on Diminishing Corruption in the Public Sector at the State House, Abuja.
Buhari said this move has become imperative to address corrupt practices in the institutions.
Noting his profound concern over the manifestation of various forms of corruption in the education sector, the president stated that this menace in the education sector has continued to undermine investments.
