Arise TV’s Morning Show co-anchor, Rufai Oseni, has won the on-air TV personality of the year award at the 16th edition of the Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award (NMNA).
NMNA was held on Sunday, 30 October 2022, at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Announcing the award, Oseni tweeted: “I just received an award for best media personality at the Nigeria Media Nite-Out. I dedicate the award to you all and my dear parents.”
In the same vein, Grand Nigeria Business Magazine has announced the journalist as the recipient of its media personality of the year award at the Grand Nigeria Business Award (GNBA) 2022.
According to a letter signed by the publisher, Grand Nigeria Business Magazine, Dr Chuks Okosi (KSM), the award is in recognition of Oseni’s “unflinching commitment to unbiased, principles-based journalism as well as playing the role of the ‘people’s conscience’ on critical matters of national importance; through the Arise News network, radio and social media.”
He would formally receive the award on 13 November 2022 during an awards dinner night to be held at the Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.
