A Yoruba actor, Ebun Oloyede, popularly known as Olaiya Igwe, has taken the campaign for the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, to another level as he prayed without clothes at a beach for Tinubu’s success at the 2023 polls.
The actor posted a video where he was captured from behind in the nude as he was praying for Tinubu’s victory on his Instagram page on Friday.
He captioned the one-minute-and-fourteen-seconds video: “It is my pleasure to support a candidate who truly reflects our values and highest ideals. There is one candidate in this election who will protect that dream. One leader who will fight hard to keep the promise of Nigeria for the next generation. And that’s why we must stand up and make Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Jagaban the next president of Nigeria.”
In the now-viral controversial video, Oloyede prayed thus: “The most high God, the God of yesterday and forever, I, Ebun Lookman Oloyede Olaiya Igwe is calling on you, on behalf of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his victory in the presidential race.”
The video has continued to generate reactions from Nigerians on social media, with many questioning the state of his mental health.
