Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has hit his first 100 million views on YouTube with his Tekno-assisted ‘Buga’ visuals.
Announcing the great achievement, the afrobeat superstar expressed gratitude to his fans for their constant support.
“Thank you for a 100million views in five months. I am grateful #BUGA,” he tweeted on the micro-blogging site.
On Instagram, he said this was his first content on YouTube that got 100 million views.
“This is my first 100 million views on content on YouTube and many more to come by His grace, #BUGA,” he said.
The West African Pilot News reports that Buga was in the third spot on YouTube’s list of end-of-year top ten music videos for 2022.
Released in May, the track with a feel-good chorus got heads of governments in Africa and beyond, among millions of Kizz Daniel’s fans around the world, grooving to the infectious new anthem.
Weeks after its release, Buga was the world’s number one shazamed tune, and it was recently listed as the most searched song on Google in 2022 by Nigerians.
