The renewed communal clashes between Waja and Lunguda communities in the Lamurde and Guyuk Local Government areas of Adamawa State have led to the destruction of residential buildings and shops.

However, no life was lost in the crisis.

Also, properties worth millions of naira were razed down in the fresh clash which erupted on Monday between the two warring communities.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Adamawa state command who confirmed the attack, said 11 shops and four houses were affected.
