Comedians Basketmouth and Nasboi are set for their shows outside Africa in February.
Basketmouth’s tour tagged “Basketmouth Unprovoked”, is expected to begin on 12 February in Manchester and end in Frankfurt on 27 February.
According to the flier for the shows, the comedian, born Bright Okpocha, will be in Manchester Academy 2 on 12 February; Glasgow Glee and Birmingham Glee on 14 February; Nottingham Glee on 16 February; Newcastle on 18 February.
Other venues and dates for the tour include London Indigo 2 on 19 February; Zurich on 23 February; Stockholm, Sweden on 24 February; Hamburg on 25 February; Berlin on 26 February; and Frankfurt on 27 February.
Nasboi’s show, ‘All of Me’ will hold at The Broadway Theatre, in Barking, London on 25 February.
The comedian, born Nasiru Lawal, enlisted his colleagues Carter Efe, Brain Jotter and Sydney Talker for the show.
Many Nigerians have continued to express their dissatisfaction with the comedians for fixing shows on the date the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) scheduled for the presidential election.
Reacting to the backlash, Basketmouth said he has been hosting his tour in February for the past twelve years; therefore, he cannot cancel this year’s because it coincided with the presidential election.
