Nasarawa State Police Command has rescued 30 victims from suspected kidnappers at Sardauna forest in Toto Local Government Area.

DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Command Public Relations Officer said in a statement that the kidnappers, who were trailed to their enclave, dispersed in disarray deep into the forest on sighting the operatives.

“The operation was carried out in collaboration with operatives of Miyetti Allah Vigilante Group after receiving intelligence reports about the unwholesome practices of the kidnappers in the area,” Mr. Nansel.

He said the Commissioner of Police has applauded the courageous effort of the police operatives and Miyetti Allah Vigilante Group for a job well done and ordered continuous combing of the Forest”, he said.

According to the statement, the Commissioner has assured members of the public that the operation will be sustained to rid the general area of Criminals.
