The National Chairman, Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’ikamatus Sunnah, (JIBWIS) Sheik Abdullahi Bala Lau has prayed for the emergence of credible leaders in the forthcoming general elections in Nigeria, and the successful conduct of the polls across the country.

He was speaking at the second combined Qur’an memorization graduation ceremony of pupils from Mu-assasatu Marta’il Aulaad Lit-Tahfizil Qur’anil Kareem Hong in collaboration with Abubakar siddiq Lit-Tahfizil Qur’anil Kareem Hong, Adamawa state which took place at Hong Central Eid ground.

He noted that people found themselves in a mess because they have abandoned the teachings of Allah, hence the consequences of their actions.

 

 

 

Sheik Lau, who is the Chairman of the occasion, spoke extensively on the benefits of memorizing verses of the Holy Qur’an, explaining that Holy Qur’an is a complete way of life, reiterating the need for Muslims to intensify reading the Holy Qur’an for their benefit in this world and the hereafter.

Represented by the National Dawa’ah Committee Chairman of the organization, Doctor Ismail Abdullahi Kumo, the National Chairman called on parents to always encourage their children in their educational pursuit particularly memorizing the Holy Qur’an.

The National Chairman, appreciating the efforts of those who established the schools, also called on people to be upright in their dealings and assist Arabic teachers who taught pupils to memorize the Holy Qur’an.

Also in his lecture, Doctor Hassan Inuwa Abdul-Hafiz emphasized the need for elders, particularly men, to enroll in Arabic schools to enable them a grasp of memorizing the Holy Qur’an, and noted that women have reached an appreciable echelon in seeking knowledge nowadays.

In their separate remarks, the District Head of Hong is also Dan Maliki Adamawa, Alhaji Umar Babangida Mahmoud Khadimul Qur’an, and Wali Adamawa Alhaji Aminu Abdulkadir represented by the District Head of Pella, Dan Kade Adamawa, Alhaji Saleh Mamman Daksiri, Kahdimul Islam while congratulating the graduands, urged them not to relent in furthering their education.

On his part, Alhaji Ilyasu Buba Fadamarake, Magajin Garin Hong while calling on parents to ensure that their children acquire both Islamic and western education, reiterated their resolve to continue assisting Arabic and Islamiyya schools for the growth of Islam.
