Oluwaseyitan Aletile, the Nigerian comedian better known as Seyi Law, has declared his support for Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general election.

Drumming his support for Tinubu, the stand-up comedian noted that the presidential candidate’s achievements as Lagos state governor were monumental, adding that only those who hate Tinubu would deny his legacy in Lagos state.

“We can pretend, refuse to accept it, and even deny it, but what Tinubu did to rebuild Lagos after the military era can never be overstated,” the comedian wrote in an Instagram post on Friday.

“You can use other metrics I don’t know to judge him, but to deny his works in Lagos as governor and the continuity is plain hatred.”

He further said he wasn’t ‘paid’ to support Tinubu, asking God to judge him if he did.

“If I was paid to campaign for ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU, let God judge me. I have always maintained my stance that I will never receive money to campaign for any politician and that I have always kept,” he added.

Since Tinubu emerged as the presidential flag bearer of the ruling party, many of his supporters have touted him as the best candidate to pilot the affairs of the nation based on his track records as governor of Lagos state between 1999 and 2007.
