Tobechukwu Okoh, the singer popularly known as Peruzzi, has asked Nigerians not to vote for a presidential candidate who would proscribe music.

Peruzzi made the plea in a Twitter post on Sunday.

“After elections na gbas gbos gbas gbos accordingly ,” the singer wrote.

“Make una no go vote person wey go ban music. You know say these niggas crazy.”

The presidential election, slated for 25 February, is in 18 days.

The three-leading candidates in the race are Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

While many celebrities in the entertainment industry have pitched their tent with one of the aforementioned candidates, others have hidden their preferred candidate from the public, preferring instead to sensitise the citizens on the need to get their permanent voters’ card (PVC).
