With the lingering cash scarcity and queue at commercial banks, some Aba residents decided not to starve while waiting for their turn to dispense cash from a bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in the commercial city.
The video shared on Twitter yesterday showed some men eating noodles from a pot at the bank premises while other bank customers watched.
The voice behind the camera said the meal was prepared right on the bank premises, adding that a customer had brought a gas cylinder and the cooking utensils to the bank.

As the hungry men ate their meal with relish, some people in the background were heard hailing them. His visit to Delta State marks a continuation of the South-South leg of his nationwide tour with recent visits to Rivers and Bayelsa States where he visited the creeks to bring the message of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope to resident communities of the area.
