The School of Communication, Texas Southern University (TSU) has named the co-founder of The West African Pilot News, Prof. Chris Ulasi as the host of its inaugural ‘TSU Talk 2023’.

Announcing the upcoming event on his Facebook page, Prof. Ulasi wrote, “I have the great pleasure to be the presenter of the inaugural TSU TALK 2023 in recognition of Black History month.”

According to a flier made available to The West African Pilot News, the theme of this year’s event is ‘The Enduring Role of Media in a Democratic Society.’

The event is slated for Wednesday, 15 February at the public affairs building of the institution.

Prof. Ulasi is the interim Dean, School of Communication and Chair, Department of Radio, Television and Film, School of Communication, TSU.

He is a screenwriter, poet, filmmaker, and media guru
