The National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) says over 200,000 Corps members would serve as adhoc staff during the upcoming elections in the country.
The Director General of the scheme, Brig-Gen. Yushau Ahmed disclosed this in Abuja while addressing Journalists in Abuja, warned corps members that would participate in the exercise to avoid any form of gratification and flash point areas.
Brig-Gen. Ahmed said the corps members have received adequate training, and warned that any corps member found to have compromised would be dealt with based on the existing law.
The DG advised corps members to dress fully in corps uniform, stressing that corps members would work with security at high security prone areas.
He said that adequate training had been given to the corps members and any corps member found to have compromised would face the full wrath of the law.
