Fans of Davido who are eagerly anticipating his return to social media this month might have to wait a bit longer as the singer has cleared his Instagram page.
Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has been off social media since the demise of his son, Ifeanyi in October 2022.
He, however, made an appearance during the swearing-in ceremony of Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, as Osun governor, on November 27.
His second appearance on social media was on December 2022 to announce his performance at the FIFA 2022 World Cup’s closing ceremony in Qatar.
He also announced that he’ll be back fully in March 2023.

However, he shocked his fans by removing his profile picture and clearing almost all the posts, on his Instagram page, which previously had over 4,000 posts, on Tuesday.
The singer retained 50 posts with only three visible: a photo of Ifeanyi, his late son; a photo of him and Chioma, his lover; and a photo of his performance at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Checks by The West African Pilot News revealed that Davido also removed his profile and cover photos on Twitter.
Although some fans see this as a green light that the singer’s return to social media is imminent, others think otherwise.
