A Cameroonian pastry chef and model, Danny Zara who earlier announced her plan to set a new Guinness World Record, GWR, for the longest sex hour has backtracked on her decision.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Zara said her goal was a 200-hour sex streak.

According to a flyer she shared on Facebook, the eight-day sex marathon will begin on July 17, 2023, and end on July 25.

The 25-year-old model further disclosed that the management of the GWR has confirmed her application.

“Ladies and gentlemen, after due confirmation from the Guinness Books of Records, I have decided to break a record of the Longest Sex Hour (Sex_Thon),” she wrote.

To accomplish the feat, Zara called on Cameroonians to support her “so we can bring this book to our country make Nigeria no help us tear am.”

She also called for “guys that will volunteer themselves for this project.”

Zara’s post sparked a hot controversy as many derided her for tainting the image of Cameroon whereas others interpreted it as a publicity stunt to advertise her bakery business.

Meanwhile, checks by The West African Pilot News showed that the 200-hour sex-thon will never hold as indicated in follow-up posts on Zara’s Facebook page.

“I think the king of pranks title should be taken from Untouchable Comedies Nigeria and handed to Danny Zara Cameroon,” she wrote a few hours after her sex-thon announcement post went viral.

In another post, she clearly stated that July 17 will “never come.”
