The senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone has commended Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma, the Chairman of Acobarry Foundation, over the full scholarship offered by his Foundation to Ms. Ekpereamaka Obiasor, a constituent of the senator.

Acobarry Foundation has offered a full international scholarship to Ekpereamaka, to enable her to pursue a master’s degree in management at the University of Derby in the United Kingdom. The scholarship which is worth about twenty million Naira, covers tuition and other living expenses of the beneficiary throughout her stay in the United Kingdom in pursuit of her studies.

While congratulating the beneficiary of the Acobarry Foundation scholarship, Sen. Ubah also commended the Foundation and its Chairman, Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma. “I congratulate Ms. Obiasor and urge her to make her benefactor, her family, ndi Anambra South and Nigerians proud of her academic achievements. I also commend the management of Acobarry Foundation led by Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma for their commitment to promoting education and providing opportunities for young Nigerians to further their studies,” the senator said.

Senator Ubah whose Foundation, Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, has also given such opportunities to many bright but less privileged students, urged that the gesture by Acobarry Foundation should be emulated by all given that education is a credible weapon against poverty and deprivation. Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah who received Ekpereamaka in his Abuja home a few days ago after she picked up her students’ visa for the United Kingdom, said he was impressed by her drive and determination.

Meanwhile, Ekpereamaka Obiasor is expected to commence her studies this September at the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.
