Chief Ben Etiaba, a reputable chartered accountant of international standing, and former governorship aspirant in Anambra State, has been named by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Professor Charles Igwe, as the guest speaker for the 2023 Ethical Leadership Lecture in the University. The lecture which has been slated for Wednesday 20th September, also coincided with Ben Etiaba’s 60th birthday.
The 2023 University of Nigeria Nsukka- UNN, Ethical Leadership Lecture would be chaired by Mr. Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate in the just concluded Presidential Election. Also, the Governor of Enugu State Dr. Peter Mbah would be special guest at the event and will be decorated with a Fellowship of Ethical Leadership award. Similarly, Dame Virgy Etiaba, former Deputy Governor who later took a brief stint as Governor of Anambra State, would be conferred with an honour of Excellence in Values of Motherhood. Madam Etiaba is the mother of Ben Etiaba and two of his brothers Emeka and Echezona Etiaba, who are both Senior Advocates of Nigeria – SAN.
The University of Nigeria Ethical Leadership Lecture is expected to attract high quality guests in various positions of corporate and political leadership across the country and beyond, most of whom once were undergraduates at the university years ago.
