The  All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Office of All Progressive Congress (APC) has berated political parties over vandalisation of its campaign office at Dekina Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State by suspected opposition political parties thugs.
Mr Kingsley Fanwo, the Commissioner for Information and Spokesman for the Kogi APC Governorship Campaign Council, made the allegation on Friday in a statement  in Lokoja.
Fanwo said: “This is to bring to the attention of the general public and law enforcement agencies that our Campaign Office in Dekina LGA has been vandalised by hoodlums.
“We want to commend the people of Kogi East for standing by the candidate, who signposts the unity of our dear state and for believing in a united and prosperous state,” Fanwo stated.
He however, urged their supporters in Dekina LGA to avoid the temptation of launching a reprisal even in the face provocation and intimidation, pointing out that APC stands for peace.
According to Fanwo, APC’s Governorship candidate, Usman Ododo, was widely accepted across the state.
He noted that the Legal Directorate of the party was compiling a comprehensive report, after preliminary report had been lodged.
Refuting the allegation when contacted, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) State Secretary, Dr Arome Okeme, described it as the architect of APC trying to drag his party (SDP) in the mud.
Okeme noted that SDP and its supporters remained peaceful with full hope of victory at the Nov. 11 Governorship Election in the state.
