Oluyemi Adeyemi, the veteran Nigerian actor popularly known as Suara, is dead.
According to a statement by his son, Adedotun Adeyemi, the actor died on Sunday (Sept. 24).
“It is with heavy hearts and profound submission to God that we announce the departure of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi (Suara), who peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023,” the statement reads partly.
Adeyemi, however, kept mum on the cause of the actor’s death, but said the family would provide further information regarding funeral arrangements in the coming days.
Adeyemi gained prominence for his role as Suara in the ‘Oh Father! Oh Daughter!’ series of the family drama Super Story which dates back to 2001.
